{"id":14564,"date":"2026-02-02T11:56:40","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T17:56:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=14564"},"modified":"2026-02-02T11:56:40","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T17:56:40","slug":"actualizan-mapas-de-pobreza-2023-e-incluyen-condicion-de-pobreza-extrema","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=14564","title":{"rendered":"Actualizan Mapas de Pobreza 2023 e incluyen condici\u00f3n de pobreza extrema"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#e2e2e2;border-style:solid;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start\" style=\"max-width:1185.6px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\" style=\"text-align:justify;\"><p><strong>Guatemala, 2 de febrero de 2026. <\/strong>Los Mapas de Pobreza 2023 que elabor\u00f3 y public\u00f3 la Secretar\u00eda de Planificaci\u00f3n y Programaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia (SEGEPLAN) fueron actualizados y ahora se incluyen detalles sobre los \u00edndices de pobreza extrema a nivel municipal.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo de los datos que se difunden a trav\u00e9s de los Mapas de Pobreza es contribuir a la gesti\u00f3n municipal de recursos, a trav\u00e9s de programas sociales y de desarrollo territorial impulsados por instituciones gubernamentales, cooperaci\u00f3n internacional u organizaciones de sociedad civil.<\/p>\n<p>La herramienta brinda detalles sobre los \u00edndices de pobreza extrema de 317 municipios del pa\u00eds, entendi\u00e9ndose pobreza extrema como la condici\u00f3n en la cual los hogares guatemaltecos pueden suplir \u00fanicamente sus necesidades alimentarias.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos hogares con pobreza extrema no tienen oportunidad de suplir necesidades de educaci\u00f3n, recreaci\u00f3n o salud. Son condiciones extremas para la poblaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 Estuardo Rodr\u00edguez, Especialista en An\u00e1lisis Estad\u00edstico de la Subsecretar\u00eda de An\u00e1lisis Estrat\u00e9gico del Desarrollo de SEGEPLAN.<\/p>\n<p>El informe se\u00f1ala que los municipios con los niveles m\u00e1s altos de pobreza extrema se concentran en Huehuetenango, Quich\u00e9, Alta Verapaz, Baja Verapaz, Santa Rosa y Jutiapa.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, se determin\u00f3 que Panz\u00f3s es el municipio con el \u00edndice m\u00e1s alto de pobreza extrema, pues casi 83 de cada 100 hogares en este territorio cumplen con esta condici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHay que recordar que, en cuanto a costos, los municipios con pobreza extrema representan m\u00e1s inversi\u00f3n para sacar a los hogares de esta condici\u00f3n.
