Con el objetivo de potencializar el uso de fondos extranjeros a trav\u00e9s de la Agencia Guatemalteca de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional para el Desarrollo, la Secretar\u00eda de Planificaci\u00f3n y Programaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia (SEGEPLAN) promovi\u00f3 un intercambio de experiencias con pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n como Chile, para conocer el funcionamiento, marco normativo y relacionamiento institucional en pa\u00edses que han puesto en pr\u00e1ctica ese tipo de modalidad.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte de los planes enfocados al cumplimiento de la Pol\u00edtica General de Gobierno en el pilar Estado responsable, transparente y efectivo, planteada por el presidente Alejandro Giammattei, Guatemala propone la creaci\u00f3n de una agencia que promueva la diversificaci\u00f3n de los recursos de la cooperaci\u00f3n por medio de la articulaci\u00f3n de las acciones de los diferentes actores que complementan los recursos nacionales en funci\u00f3n del Sistema Nacional de Planificaci\u00f3n y enfocados en la priorizaci\u00f3n del\u00a0 Plan Nacional de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>En ese marco, a trav\u00e9s del Programa Iberoamericano de Fortalecimiento de la Cooperaci\u00f3n Sur-Sur (PIFCSS), funcionarios de gobierno y congresistas participaron en la visita a la Agencia Chilena de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional para el Desarrollo (AGCI). En el intercambio de experiencias se comparti\u00f3 el mecanismo de gobernanza para adaptar y adoptar un modelo que se ajuste a la realidad de Guatemala en el proceso de dise\u00f1o de su Agencia de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Guatemala por su parte, comparti\u00f3 con Chile la conceptualizaci\u00f3n y el mecanismo de di\u00e1logo de los distintos actores del Sistema Nacional de Cooperaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo, la plataforma de registro para el Seguimiento y an\u00e1lisis de la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional (SIGEACI) y la metodolog\u00eda de elaboraci\u00f3n del Cat\u00e1logo de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional para impulsar la Cooperaci\u00f3n Sur-Sur.<\/p>\n<p>La creaci\u00f3n de la agencia promover\u00eda el uso de las modalidades no tradicionales de cooperaci\u00f3n que posicionen a Guatemala como pa\u00eds oferente y receptor, para ampliar las opciones de cooperaci\u00f3n para el desarrollo: Cooperaci\u00f3n Sur-Sur, Cooperaci\u00f3n Triangular,
