La Secretar\u00eda de Planificaci\u00f3n y Programaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia (SEGEPLAN) ha puesto a disposici\u00f3n de los guatemaltecos un centro de informaci\u00f3n y atenci\u00f3n personalizada respecto de los programas de becas que ofrece la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional y que son gestionados por esta secretar\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El centro de informaci\u00f3n de becas, que se inaugur\u00f3 en el marco de la III Feria Virtual de Becas el 21 de noviembre, se ubica en la 9\u00aa. Calle 10-44, zona 1, est\u00e1 adscrito a la Direcci\u00f3n de Administraci\u00f3n de Becas y Cr\u00e9dito Educativo, y cuenta con 12 cub\u00edculos habilitados para la atenci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Keila G. Vilchez, secretaria general de SEGEPLAN expres\u00f3 que la inauguraci\u00f3n del centro de atenci\u00f3n es parte de las prioridades del presidente Alejandro Giammatei para acercar y ofrecer oportunidades de estudios superiores a los guatemaltecos, adem\u00e1s del esfuerzo por brindar un lugar adecuado en donde los interesados puedan obtener datos de una forma m\u00e1s \u00e1gil.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAhora pueden venir a las instalaciones de SEGEPLAN y les atenderemos en cub\u00edculos personalizados, en donde se les brindar\u00e1 asesor\u00eda especializada a trav\u00e9s de un cat\u00e1logo de becas interactivo. Adicionalmente, estamos poniendo a su disposici\u00f3n otros medios tecnol\u00f3gicos para brindar acceso a la informaci\u00f3n. Nuestra meta es que todos se vayan con una beca seleccionada\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la gesti\u00f3n de la secretaria general Keila G. Vilchez, con el apoyo del presidente de la Rep\u00fablica, la oferta acad\u00e9mica de becas por parte de los cooperantes ha incrementado en un 25 por ciento.<\/p>\n<p>La funcionaria reafirm\u00f3 en nombre del presidente Giammatei el compromiso del gobierno con la educaci\u00f3n superior y acercar las becas de estudio superior a la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En la presente tercera Feria Virtual de Becas se cuenta con la participaci\u00f3n de 30 cooperantes nacionales e internacionales, que tienen una oferta de m\u00e1s de 7 mil oportunidades de estudio para optar a una beca en los niveles de licenciatura, maestr\u00eda, doctorado y cursos cortos en diferentes pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>Para participar en la feria, los interesados pueden inscribirse en este enlace
