{"id":9004,"date":"2023-11-15T12:41:52","date_gmt":"2023-11-15T18:41:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=9004"},"modified":"2023-11-15T12:41:52","modified_gmt":"2023-11-15T18:41:52","slug":"estudiantes-de-la-region-sur-podran-conocer-oferta-academica-a-traves-de-expo-becas-tour-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=9004","title":{"rendered":"Estudiantes de la regi\u00f3n Sur podr\u00e1n conocer oferta  acad\u00e9mica a trav\u00e9s de Expo Becas Tour 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#e2e2e2;border-style:solid;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start\" style=\"max-width:1185.6px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\" style=\"text-align:justify;\"><p><strong>Guatemala, 14 de noviembre de 2023. <\/strong>Del 16 al 19 de noviembre, la Secretar\u00eda de Planificaci\u00f3n y Programaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia (SEGEPLAN) llevar\u00e1 a cabo la Expo Becas Tour 2023 en la regi\u00f3n Sur, la cual abarcar\u00e1 los departamentos de Escuintla, Retalhuleu, Suchitep\u00e9quez y Santa Rosa.<\/p>\n<p>La gira ser\u00e1 inaugurada en el departamento de Escuintla por la secretaria general de Planificaci\u00f3n, Luz Keila Vilchez, a quien le acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1n representantes de las fuentes cooperantes que ofrecen los programas de estudio.<\/p>\n<p>La actividad en cada departamento comenzar\u00e1 el jueves 16 y finalizar\u00e1 el domingo 19 de noviembre, en un horario de 9 a 17 horas para los d\u00edas 16 y 17, mientras que para los d\u00edas 18 y 19 el horario ser\u00e1 de 08:00 a 12:00 horas, la entrada ser\u00e1 gratuita.<\/p>\n<p>En el evento, los cooperantes, tanto nacionales como internacionales socializar\u00e1n la oferta acad\u00e9mica que administra SEGEPLAN que incluye licenciaturas, maestr\u00edas, doctorados y cursos cortos de especializaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La Expo Becas Tour 2023 es una iniciativa que da cumplimiento al objetivo trazado en la Pol\u00edtica General de Gobierno 2020-2024 de ampliar el acceso a la educaci\u00f3n, mediante la obtenci\u00f3n de becas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acerca de Expo Becas Tour 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Expo Becas Tour 2023 se inici\u00f3 en la regi\u00f3n Oriente a inicios de septiembre y abarc\u00f3 los departamentos de Chiquimula, Zacapa, Jalapa y Jutiapa. Seg\u00fan los registros de asistencia, la actividad atrajo el inter\u00e9s de 1,676 personas, de las cuales 677 fueron hombres y 999 mujeres.<\/p>\n<p>La poblaci\u00f3n de Oriente manifest\u00f3 su inter\u00e9s por estudiar carreras vinculadas con las ciencias sociales (22.67 por ciento), ingenier\u00eda y tecnolog\u00eda (16.71 por ciento) y ciencias m\u00e9dicas y de la salud (16.47 por ciento).<\/p>\n<p>Posteriormente, del 21 al 24 de septiembre el evento se realiz\u00f3 en la regi\u00f3n Occidente, en la que se contabiliz\u00f3 la asistencia de 1,888 personas en los departamentos de San Marcos, Solol\u00e1, Quetzaltenango, Totonicap\u00e1n y Huehuetenango.<\/p>\n<p>En esta \u00e1rea, 25.16 por ciento de personas present\u00f3 inter\u00e9s en carreras de ciencias sociales, 17 por ciento en ciencias m\u00e9dicas y de la salud y 15.68 por ciento en ingenier\u00eda y tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El evento tambi\u00e9n lleg\u00f3 a la regi\u00f3n Norte, que abarc\u00f3 los departamentos de Pet\u00e9n, Izabal, Alta Verapaz y Baja Verapaz y que registr\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de 1,499 personas.<\/p>\n<p>En la regi\u00f3n, el 18.35 por ciento de asistentes manifest\u00f3 su inter\u00e9s de ampliar sus conocimientos en el \u00e1rea de ciencias m\u00e9dicas y de la salud, el 17.75 por ciento en ciencias sociales y el 16.34 por ciento en carreras de ingenier\u00eda y tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Para participar en las actividades de Expo Becas Tour, SEGEPLAN, pone a disposici\u00f3n sus redes sociales y as\u00ed conocer los programas que se
