{"id":9129,"date":"2023-12-13T13:12:41","date_gmt":"2023-12-13T19:12:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=9129"},"modified":"2023-12-13T13:12:41","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T19:12:41","slug":"segeplan-promueve-otorgamiento-de-24392-becas-durante-periodo-2020-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/portal.segeplan.gob.gt\/segeplan\/?p=9129","title":{"rendered":"SEGEPLAN promueve otorgamiento de 24,392 becas durante per\u00edodo 2020-2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"fusion-fullwidth fullwidth-box fusion-builder-row-1 fusion-flex-container nonhundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling\" style=\"background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0);background-position: center center;background-repeat: no-repeat;border-width: 0px 0px 0px 0px;border-color:#e2e2e2;border-style:solid;\" ><div class=\"fusion-builder-row fusion-row fusion-flex-align-items-flex-start\" style=\"max-width:1185.6px;margin-left: calc(-4% \/ 2 );margin-right: calc(-4% \/ 2 );\"><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-0 fusion_builder_column_1_1 1_1 fusion-flex-column\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-justify-content-flex-start fusion-content-layout-column\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-1\" style=\"text-align:justify;\"><p><strong>Guatemala, 13 de diciembre de 2023. <\/strong>Como entidad que administra\u00a0 el banco de becas, durante 2020-2023, la Secretar\u00eda de Planificaci\u00f3n y Programaci\u00f3n de la Presidencia (SEGEPLAN), ha gestionado el otorgamiento de 24,392 que son puestas a disposici\u00f3n por fuentes cooperantes nacionales e internacionales y el Fideicomiso Nacional de Becas y Cr\u00e9dito Educativo (Finabece).<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan datos de la Direcci\u00f3n de Administraci\u00f3n de Becas y Cr\u00e9dito Educativo, 23,555 becas fueron otorgadas por la cooperaci\u00f3n nacional e internacional, mientras que 837 se otorgaron por el Finabece.<\/p>\n<p>Durante ese per\u00edodo se tuvo una oferta acad\u00e9mica de 12,521 especialidades entre licenciaturas, maestr\u00edas, doctorados y cursos cortos de especializaci\u00f3n, para estudios en hasta 13,328 opciones de centros de estudios ubicados en pa\u00edses de Europa, Asia y Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>La educaci\u00f3n es una de la Prioridades Nacionales de Desarrollo y que ha sido priorizada por el presidente Alejandro Giammattei dentro de la Pol\u00edtica General de Gobierno (PGG 2020-2023).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Difusi\u00f3n de oferta educativa<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para promocionar la oferta acad\u00e9mica, SEGEPLAN desarroll\u00f3 diferentes iniciativas estrat\u00e9gicas entre 2020 y 2023, entre estas, cuatro Expo Becas, dos de ellas en formato virtual, as\u00ed tambi\u00e9n la primera Expo Becas Tour que acerc\u00f3 la educaci\u00f3n a los 21 departamentos, adem\u00e1s de las cuatro Ferias Nacionales de Becas.<\/p>\n<p>Las actividades puestas a disposici\u00f3n de los guatemaltecos registraron 30,597 visitantes, mientras que en las plataformas virtuales se contabiliz\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de 98,761 usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, de las cuatro Expo Becas realizadas, dos fueron en formato virtual, una presencial y una h\u00edbrida. Durante estos eventos, se registraron 27,691 usuarios; 24,746 visitas en la plataforma virtual y 637,819 vistas en las redes sociales.<\/p>\n<p>La Expo Becas Tour que lleg\u00f3 a las regiones de Oriente, Occidente, Norte, Sur y Centro, registr\u00f3 una participaci\u00f3n de 6,803 usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>A lo anterior, se agrega que desde el a\u00f1o 2022, SEGEPLAN cuenta con un Centro de Atenci\u00f3n al Usuario, el cual busca optimizar la satisfacci\u00f3n del usuario con respecto de la informaci\u00f3n y asesor\u00eda t\u00e9cnica proporcionada de los programas de becas nacionales e internacionales.<\/p>\n<p>Otra herramienta que se ha promocionado en la actual administraci\u00f3n es el Cat\u00e1logo de Becas. El documento contiene informaci\u00f3n sobre la cobertura de becas, requisitos b\u00e1sicos, proceso general de aplicaci\u00f3n, fechas aproximadas de aplicaci\u00f3n, nivel de estudios por
